Quobly and Entropica Labs Partner for Fault-Tolerant Quantum Systems
Quantum Collaboration: Quobly and Entropica Labs
On February 25, 2026, Quobly, a leader in silicon-based quantum technology from France, announced an exciting partnership with Singapore-based Entropica Labs, known for its cutting-edge quantum software. This collaboration, marked by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), focuses on developing fault-tolerant quantum computing systems.
The goal is to combine Quobly’s innovative silicon quantum processors with Entropica Labs’ error correction and optimization software. This partnership embodies a fruitful fusion of Europe’s hardware prowess with Asia-Pacific’s growing software capabilities, fostering a bridge for technological innovation.
Quobly CEO Maud Vinet and Entropica Labs CEO Tommaso Demarie led the signing event, attended by key figures from both countries’ tech sectors. The agreement highlights Singapore’s strategic role in Quobly’s global vision, fortifying its presence after the company’s setup in the city-state at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) in October 2025.
Driving Quantum Excellence
Central to this collaboration is advancing fault-tolerant quantum software compatible with Quobly’s silicon processors. The focus includes developing compiler technologies and optimization tools crucial for robust error correction.
“Teaming with Entropica Labs enhances our ability to create scalable quantum systems by marrying our hardware with their software expertise,” said Maud Vinet, noting Singapore’s importance in global operations.
Tommaso Demarie emphasized the transition from qubit physics to system-level fault tolerance as silicon processors evolve. “This partnership is key to co-designing software and hardware, turning silicon quantum systems into practical quantum computers.”
The collaboration strengthens Singapore’s standing as a quantum hub, showcasing the power of international cooperation in transforming experimental technologies into robust, scalable solutions for real-world applications.
