EUREKA-Backed Partnership Accelerates Blind Quantum Computing Security
Collaboration for Advancing Blind Quantum Computing
In an exciting international partnership, NanoQT and VeriQloud are working together to revolutionize Blind Quantum Computing (BQC). Supported by the EUREKA Globalstars-Japan initiative, this collaboration leverages NanoQT’s expertise in nanofiber cavity quantum hardware and VeriQloud’s knowledge of quantum network protocols. Their combined efforts aim to enhance security in quantum computing using neutral-atom frameworks.
The project focuses on developing a scalable BQC-compatible system for secure computation across networked quantum processors. This system will feature a nanofiber-based quantum network interface paired with neutral-atom Quantum Processing Units (QPUs). Additionally, it will incorporate advanced cryptographic methods to safeguard client data. By designing the hardware and software together, the team intends to overcome challenges in deploying secure quantum cloud services.
International Support and Impact
Funding from Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and France’s Bpifrance underscores the global commitment to secure quantum technology infrastructure. This initiative promises to yield both technical prototypes and valuable intellectual property, advancing the field of privacy-preserving quantum computations.
