SEALSQ Launches Post-Quantum Security for Next-Gen Robotics
SEALSQ Unveils Groundbreaking Quantum Security for Robots
At the recent Physical AI Roundtable in Davos, SEALSQ Corp brought forth a game-changing idea: post-quantum cryptography for robotics. This cutting-edge tech promises to shield robotic systems from the looming threat of quantum computing. Despite some market challenges, SEALSQ’s stock has soared, showing a notable 48.19% climb over six months. Currently, the company holds a valuation nearing $909.71 million.
Central to their presentation was the WISeRobot, a prototype developed alongside WISeKey International. This project showcased how integrating post-quantum security into robotics can ensure future safety and trust in AI applications.
Experts warn that quantum computers could be a reality as early as 2028. With this in mind, SEALSQ is pioneering quantum-resistant algorithms and hardware-based trust roots in their robotic platforms. This approach was lauded by IBM’s Mark Hughes, underscoring the need for quantum-ready security.
Forging a Secure Future
SEALSQ is not just demonstrating concepts but is actively working on innovative solutions. Each AI system developed by SEALSQ will have a distinct cryptographic identity, embedded during manufacturing. This sets a new standard for secure operations and trust.
The company also reported robust revenues for 2025, skyrocketing to $18 million, reflecting a 66% increase from the previous year. Part of their strategy involves exploring a potential $200 million investment in Quobly SAS to further their quantum capabilities.
Additionally, SEALSQ is teaming up with Gujarat and Kaynes SemiCon to build India’s first post-quantum semiconductor facility, aiming to produce 300 million secure semiconductors annually. This joint venture not only promises technological advancement but also strengthens data sovereignty and national security.
This innovative journey is one to watch, as SEALSQ continues to redefine how we secure the future of AI and digital infrastructures.
