Asia University Collaborates with NucleicAI for an AI-Powered Life Science Data Platform

October 14, 2025, Taichung, Taiwan – In a groundbreaking move, Asia University has partnered with NucleicAI LLC to launch an AI-driven life science data platform in Taiwan. This platform aims to revolutionize genomics, precision medicine, and health intelligence through secure data sharing and advanced analytics, while maintaining data sovereignty.

The partnership was formalized at the IEEE International Conference on AI × Medicine, Health, and Care in Taichung, attended by leaders like Asia University’s President, Jeffrey J.P. Tsai, and Professor Alireza Haghighi of NucleicAI. “This alliance is a crucial step towards a next-gen health data ecosystem,” said President Tsai, emphasizing the collaboration’s potential to boost Asia University’s research in line with its biomedical advancement goals.

Professor Haghighi noted, “Taiwan’s biomedical landscape makes it ideal for health innovations; this partnership aims to build a solid data framework supporting predictive and precision medicine and drug discovery.” Professor David Sinclair from Harvard Medical School highlighted the potential to transform data use for health and longevity via this partnership.

The initiative will focus on genomics, AI-driven analytics, and longevity studies, prioritizing data governance. Asia University will move its life science databases to the new platform, enabling privacy-centric analytics and AI insights, fostering global partnerships. Collaborations with Taiwan’s top institutions will support a smooth data transition, enhancing national cooperation and sector innovation.
