The partnership is laser-focused on establishing sovereign, private-first AI systems, hosted within regional data centers, primarily serving Europe and Asia-Pacific.

This collaboration is designed to meet the growing need for AI platforms that comply with rigorous privacy and security standards. By combining NTT DATA’s vast infrastructure and integration skills with Mistral AI’s cutting-edge language models, the duo aims to deliver enterprise-grade systems fully aligned with local regulations and industry standards.

Abhijit Dubey, CEO of NTT DATA, emphasized that this collaboration with Mistral AI is in line with their goal of driving client success through innovation. “Our mission is to bring reliable AI solutions to market and make a positive societal impact,” he said.

With expertise in managing private infrastructures for compliance-heavy tasks, NTT DATA, alongside Mistral AI’s models, will offer dependable, low-latency AI services tailored to local compliance needs. Plans are in place to develop language models specifically for regional markets like France and Spain.

The initial rollout targets countries such as France, Luxembourg, Spain, Singapore, and Australia, with infrastructure and model customization meeting local regulatory requirements. Dedicated sales teams will support AI adoption across various sectors.
